The Somalian woman is being treated by four Australian doctors at the Republic of Nauru hospital and an emergency evacuation has been requested.
This latest incident comes just days after a 23-year-old Iranian man died – also from self inflicted burns.
It’s prompted a warning from the Nauruan Government to refugee advocates to stop stirring up trouble.
